Opp had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the New Brockton Gamecocks 15-0 on Friday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matches by six runs or more this season.

Autumn Green was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Jaidyn Ivey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with five stolen bases and two runs.

Opp always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Opp, bringing their record up to 29-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for New Brockton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-24 record this season.

Opp wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Straughn on the 28th. New Brockton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
