With a playoff game on the line, the Mandarin Mustangs rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Bulldogs 78-35 on the road. Mandarin's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Mandarin found their leader in underclassman Mia Chandler, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chandler has scored all season. Ny'keria Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Mandarin and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for Flagler Palm Coast, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
Mandarin will square off against the Toros at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tocoi Creek is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. Flagler Palm Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
