Allendale proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Northview Wildcats 9-8. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on five straight.
Kenedie Curtis was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tessa Gunter, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Allendale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive games.
Allendale pushed their record up to 15-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
