Crescent entered their tilt with Blackwell on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Maroons, sneaking past 5-3. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Crescent's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Blackwell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Crescent has already played their next game, a 7-1 win against Capitol Hill on the 13th. As for Blackwell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-3 defeat against Luther on the 14th.
