The South Bend Career Academy Trailblazers lost against the Argos Dragons back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. South Bend Career Academy took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Argos.
Leading Argos to victory were Luke Stults and Sean Richard. Stults scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Richard scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The game was Richard's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Austin, who scored seven points.
South Bend Career Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Argos, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
South Bend Career Academy will head out on the road to face off against Morgan Township at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morgan Township has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests. Argos won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pioneer at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th.
