Last Monday, Berlin's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Southington by a score of 47-40.
Berlin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Ellison, who scored 15 points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Brooke Walker, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, North Branford can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over Coginchaug Regional. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win North Branford has posted since December 19, 2023.
Berlin's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for North Branford, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.
