If the Weber Warriors were riding high off their 63-38 takedown of the Bear River Bears on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Weber fell 50-41 to Northridge on Wednesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Weber in their matchups with Northridge: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abby Sayer, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rylee Jugler, who scored 8 points.
The last time Weber won on the road was back last Friday. Having now lost three straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Northridge, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Weber will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bonneville at 5:15 p.m. on December 8th. Bonneville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Northridge and Ogden will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Ogden is ranked 80th, while Northridge is ranked 57th).
