There's no place like home for Columbus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They put the hurt on the Louisville Wildcats with a sharp 14-4 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Columbus pushed their record up to 5-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Louisville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
