In what's become a running theme this season, Tenor gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 87-40 on the road. The victory was just what Tenor needed coming off of a 75-45 defeat in their prior matchup.
Leading Tenor to victory were Quintyn Robinson and Kyrell Davis. Robinson scored 28 points along with eight steals and five rebounds, while Davis dropped a double-double on 28 points and 15 rebounds. Robinson is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Larell Davis, who scored six points along with three steals.
Tenor's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-6. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 18 of their last 19 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 331-1218-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tenor will face off against the at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Cardinals on January 31st.
