Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Florence). They put the hurt on the Brookhaven Panthers with a sharp 14-1 win on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three games in a row.

Florence got a massive performance out of Bryan Davis, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Davis has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan McFall, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Florence's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Brookhaven, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Florence beat Brookhaven by a score of 8-0 later that day.
