4A Region 3 recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A Region 3 this week, Dadeville beat Russell County 21-18. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Tigers.
Dadeville's dynamic duo of C. J. Tolbert and Jay Foster proved to be unstoppable against the Warriors, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Tolbert threw for 53 yards and Foster had 45 yards receiving.
David Eastridge was a key player and the best on defense this week as Beulah beat Wadley. He grabbed 2 sacks.
Trevon Brown was a passing and rushing force as the Bobcats bested the Bulldogs. He completed 3 passes for 24 yards and also ran for 191 yards. Brown's key target this week was Eastridge, who caught 3 passes for 24 yards.
Elmore County's Michael Walls and Javon Moore led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Walls has thrown for 1,715 yards this season, while Moore has 48 catches for 837 yards. Tolbert from Richard White's team leads the league in rushing with 1,168 yards.
Holtville led the league in scoring this week by notching 61 points on Alabama Christian Academy.
