St. Vincent de Paul hadn't done well against Ukiah recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs were the clear victor by a 54-33 margin over the Ukiah Wildcats. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

St. Vincent de Paul found their leader in sophomore Dylan Chelew, who posted 12 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Chelew a new career-high. Roman Yusupov was another key player, putting up eight points.

St. Vincent de Paul was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ukiah only posted three assists.

Ukiah's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacob Lunceford, who had 13 points and six rebounds, and Kaleo Olson, who earned ten points and seven boards.

The win (which was St. Vincent de Paul's third in a row) raised their record to 14-8. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 34.8% in those games and 27.9% outside of them. As for Ukiah, their loss dropped their record down to 6-18.

St. Vincent de Paul has already played their next matchup, a 51-42 victory against Santa Rosa on the 1st. As for Ukiah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-56 defeat against Rancho Cotate on the 4th.
