The Olympus Titans will venture away from home to face off against the Viewmont Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Olympus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
Olympus was handed an 11-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They skirted past Jordan 6-4. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jaedin Mugleston was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sydney Birkeland, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Mya Palcher also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.
Meanwhile, Viewmont made easy work of Alta on Thursday and carried off a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Like Olympus, Viewmont also got a great game from a two-way player: London Dickerson. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Dickerson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Olivia McGarvey was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Raegyn Dahlke, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
The win got Olympus back to even at 5-5. As for Viewmont, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Olympus hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .368. However, it's not like Viewmont struggles in that department as they've averaged .328. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Olympus was able to grind out a solid victory over Viewmont when the teams last played back in May of 2025, winning 10-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
