A Season-Best Effort from Brian Williams Leads Surry Central over Forbush
On Friday, Surry Central got the W thanks in part to Brian Williams playing the best football he has all season. Williams picked up 169 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 68 yards.
Forbush's probably not too fond of Williams given he always seems to get the better of them. Williams rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in October of 2023.
