 Brooklyn Stehlik had an outrageously good game as she  dropped  a double-double with 17 points and 17  boards. Those 17  rebounds gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jolee Deweese, who  posted 12  points.
 Platteview  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 16  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Douglas County West only pulled down six  offensive boards.
 Meanwhile, Crete entered their tilt with Lincoln Northwest on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They claimed a resounding  66-14 win over the Falcons. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  40-6.
 Crete pushed their record up to 11-11 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Platteview, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
