After two games on the road, Fort Stockton is heading back home. They will take on the Andrews Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Fort Stockton earned a 36-26 win over the Loboes. The victory was just what Fort Stockton needed coming off of a 97-22 defeat in their prior contest.
Amaya Urias was her usual excellent self, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kimbree Norman, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Andrews was able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles on Friday, taking the game 42-32.
Fort Stockton's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-15. As for Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 13-18.
