Carman-Ainsworth suffered a tough 50-28 defeat at the hands of Flushing. Carman-Ainsworth has struggled against Flushing recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Flushing got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Smith out in front who rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 61 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Braylen Smith was another key contributor, gaining 120 total yards and two touchdowns.
Carman-Ainsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Flushing, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
