Lakewood lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Iesha shaw, who scored 17 points. Zakiya Hodge was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Saniya Williams continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crestwood, scoring 28 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Javiah Martin, who scored 11 points.
Lakewood's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Crestwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.
Lakewood will be playing at home against Camden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Camden is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Crestwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Lake City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
