Susquenita never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Greenwood on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 16-5 win. Chanse Fisher and Jon Erdossy made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Fisher pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Susquenita struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 12 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
