The Spring Creek Gators will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the New Bern Bears  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Spring Creek knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully New Bern likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Spring Creek earned  a  61-53 victory over North Duplin.

Spring Creek relied on the efforts of   Brennan Chambers, who  dropped  a double-double on 28  points and 13  boards, and   Nathan Jackson, who  went 7 of 16  on his way to 19  points and six  rebounds. Jackson's evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Darius Deal, who  posted two points and six  rebounds.
 Spring Creek  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask New Bern). The stars were shining brightly for them in  a  76-60 win over North Pitt on Monday.
 The  victory  got New Bern back to even at 3-3. As for Spring Creek, their win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-4.
