The Hancock Eagles will take on the Holy Trinity Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Hancock and Goode STEM Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Knights on Tuesday.
Laith Ahmad looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ryan Ostrowski was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Hancock's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 8-1-1 (and 4-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Gael Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Holy Trinity owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Westmont as they made off with a 7-0 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Sentinels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Matt Diaz and Noe Hernandez made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Diaz tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Hernandez didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. At bat, Diaz went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Hernandez got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Mota, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Holy Trinity's win bumped their record up to 14-10-1. As for Hancock, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9-1.
Holy Trinity's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hancock hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. It's a different story for Holy Trinity, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Hancock's hitters?
Hancock suffered a grim 19-9 defeat to Holy Trinity in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Will the Eagles have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
