It was a good run, but the Sudan Hornets unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 80-43 loss at the hands of Floydada. Sudan has struggled against Floydada recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Braun Hobbs, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 21 rebounds for Floydada. Hobbs has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Aiden Trevino was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists and three steals.
Sudan's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Floydada, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Sudan will square off against Ralls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Floydada, they will be playing at home against New Deal at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. New Deal has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 222 points over their last three matches.
