Hammon has enjoyed a six-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Hinton Comets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Hammon suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-44 walloping at the hands of Seiling.
Meanwhile, Hinton suffered a tough 64-38 loss at the hands of Mountain View-Gotebo on Monday. While losing is never fun, Hinton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Mountain View-Gotebo is ranked 39th).
Hammon's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Hinton, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
