The Cincinnati Christian Cougars can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. Everything went their way against New Miami as Cincinnati Christian made off with a 61-35 win. The victory was just what Cincinnati Christian needed coming off of a 74-28 loss in their prior game.
Cincinnati Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaylin Davis led the charge by scoring 20 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Johnson, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Cincinnati Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for New Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Christian will take on the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Miami, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Lockland has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16.
