The Columbus Titans were the 54-50 winner over the Liberal Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Columbus took a 52-33 bruising from Liberal on Saturday.
Columbus' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Katie Simpson, who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds, and Grace Major who scored 5 points.
Columbus now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Liberal, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Columbus will stay at home for another game and welcome Cherryvale at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Liberal, they will head out on the road to face off against Diamond at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th.
