Korba Posts Huge Game in 29-16 Defeat
Peru had to settle for second on Friday, but Isaiah Korba sure wasn't going down easily. Korba turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
Peru's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5. Korba and Peru will take on Manchester on Friday.

Aiden Robinson Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Maconaquah got the W thanks in part to Aiden Robinson playing the best football he has all season. Robinson wasn't messing around, throwing for 376 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes. The match was his sixth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
The victory for Maconaquah keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1. Robinson and Maconaquah will welcome Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Maconaquah Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Marcell Sims
Maconaquah picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Marcell Sims. Sims turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards.
On the season, Sims has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.1 receiving yards per game.

Beck Made His Presence Known in Rochester's 29-0 Victory
Brant Beck's big game helped extend Rochester's winning streak to six on Friday. Beck did his part (and then some), rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Beck must have Southwood's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Beck rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in October of 2023.
