The Hannan Wildcats will face off against the Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Hannan took a loss when they played away from home  last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Saturday. They breezed past Tri-State HomeSchool to the tune of  84-33. That 51 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

 Hannan got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Ian Chaffin out in front who  posted 18  points. Those  18 points gave  Chaffin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Eli Cade, who  had 15  points.
Meanwhile, Parkersburg Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were five  points away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   66-61 heartbreaker at the hands of Ritchie County. The  match was a  27-27 toss-up at halftime, but the Crusaders couldn't quite close it out.
 The match pitted two dominant  forwards against one another in  Preston Randolph and  Isaac Hodges. Hodges had a great game and  dropped  a double-double with 24 points and 11  boards. Meanwhile,  Randolph did his best for the losing side,  to rack up 12  points and four  steals.
 Hannan's victory  ended  a  nine-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 5-16. As for Parkersburg Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.
