The Hamilton Heights Huskies will square off against the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

That's the most runs Jackson has posted over her last 11 contests. Another player making a difference was Isabel Morrow, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Guerin Catholic never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over Lafayette Central Catholic. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.
Like Hamilton Heights, Guerin Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Natalie Eiler. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Eiler has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Guerin Catholic got a massive performance out of Anna Mauch, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Mauch also snagged a stolen base, marking her first of the season. Lucy Kemp was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Guerin Catholic pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Hamilton Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Everything went Hamilton Heights' way against Guerin Catholic when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Hamilton Heights made off with a 12-0 win. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
