Cajon is a perfect 10-0 against Redlands since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cowboys will be playing at home against the Terriers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cajon has three straight victories, Redlands has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Cajon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Redlands East Valley, posting a 54-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cowboys' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Wildcats are ranked 461st).
Cajon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marcus Washington out in front who threw for 238 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards. Jordan White was another key back, rushing for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Cajon didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Redlands East Valley to a completion percentage of just 46.2%. The team can thank Cole Imbriani for the heroic effort on defense: he. Cajon has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.59 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.59 in their last three games.

Cajon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Quinn Jackson and Taylor Johnson. Johnson has been hot for a while, having also posted ten or more total tackles the last 20 times he's played. Cajon got some further help from Uziah Todd: he picked up 1.5 sacks and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Redlands played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 48-8 defeat at the hands of Citrus Valley. The Terriers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Even if they lost, Redlands' defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Anthony Ortiz, James Stewart, and Riley Devlin, who each picked up one sack apiece. Ortiz was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 15 total tackles.
Redlands' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cajon, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
The upcoming game will be a clash of competing strengths. Cajon has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 177.2 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile, Redlands has preferred to attack from the air: they average 289.1 passing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
Everything came up roses for Cajon against Redlands in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-10 victory. In that contest, the Cowboys amassed a halftime lead of 35-3, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
