This season hasn't been kind to the Grace Christian Crusader, who are still winless after their 12th match. They took a serious blow against Byne Christian on Tuesday, falling 79-28. Grace Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-17.
Several Crusader players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brandon Fitch, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Noah Farnsworth, who scored seven points.
Grace Christian dropped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.0 points per game. As for Byne Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will take on the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Kings Way Christian School is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Byne Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Wildcats at 7:45 p.m. on February 1st.
