The Huron Chiefs will be home for the holidays to greet the Milan Big Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Huron will be strutting in after a win while Milan will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Huron beat Roosevelt 52-44. That 52-44 margin sets a new team best for Huron this season.
Meanwhile, Milan took a serious blow against Britton Deerfield on Tuesday, falling 69-36. While losing is never fun, Milan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while Britton Deerfield is ranked 21st).
The win got Huron back to even at 2-2. As for Milan, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Huron was able to grind out a solid win over Milan when the teams last played back in February, winning 64-54. Does Huron have another victory up their sleeve, or will Milan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
