Kingsford had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Sault Area Blue Devils. Considering the Flivvers have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Andres Finley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.2 innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other pitching news, Joey Weber looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Nolan Hendrickson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Gavin Trevillian was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Kingsford's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Sault Area, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-13.

As of now, neither Kingsford nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
