The Christian Academy lost against King's Christian back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Christian Academy ended up on the wrong side of a tough 70-47 walloping at the hands of King's Christian. While losing is never fun, The Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 513th in Pennsylvania, while King's Christian is ranked 97th in New Jersey).
King's Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jason Brice, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Tysaun Bruce, who scored 16 points.
The Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for King's Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
The Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King's Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Holy Cross at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Cross will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something King's Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
