Glencliff was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss. They were beaten by the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights 69-18. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings  (they are ranked 373rd, while the Blue Knights are ranked 39th).
 Hume-Fogg's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Michael Nwoye, who  went 6 of 9  on his way to 19  points in addition to eight  rebounds and three  steals. That's the most points  Nwoye has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alonzo Rhodes, who  dropped  a double-double on 17  points and ten  boards.
Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Hume-Fogg, the  victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing Valor College Prep the next time they take the court. Hume-Fogg will head out to face Valor College Prep at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday, while Glencliff will  host them  at 7:30  p.m.  on February 11th.
