Softball Recap: North Moore Has No Trouble Against Chatham Charter

North Moore had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Chatham Charter Knights with a sharp 13-3 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Calissa Clendenin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Rylee Welch, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

North Moore was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

North Moore moved to 15-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Chatham Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Looking ahead, North Moore will face off against Bear Grass Charter on Friday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. Chatham Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
