Sydney Wittman put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
