The Dulaney Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Milford Mill Academy Millers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Dulaney strolled past Carver A&T with points to spare, taking the game 47-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dulaney.
Meanwhile, Milford Mill Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Owings Mills 62-12 at home. Milford Mill Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 46 points or more this season.
Dulaney is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Milford Mill Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Dulaney against Milford Mill Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2019 as the team secured a 91-63 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dulaney since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
