On Friday, The Central Noble Cougars got themselves on the board against the Prairie Heights Panthers, but the Prairie Heights Panthers never followed suit. They strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 14-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Central Noble also won the last time the pair played back in September.
Among those leading the charge was Devin Hiestand, who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Hiestand was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards.
Central Noble's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Adam Marker and his two sacks.
Central Noble's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Prairie Heights, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Central Noble will head out on the road to face off against Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manchester is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Prairie Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
