The Christ School Greenies can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rabun Gap-Nacoochee 73-38 on the road. Given Christ School's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 18th in North Carolina, while Rabun Gap-Nacoochee is ranked 254th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Zymicah Wilkins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Keenan Wilkins, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Christ School pushed their record up to 15-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Christ School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Asheville School (Independent) at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Asheville School (Independent) is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carolina Day at 7:15 p.m.
