Marathon waltzed into their matchup on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Pittsville Panthers 16-6. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

Marathon's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Pittsville, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Marathon will head out to face off against Medford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pittsville has already played their next game (against Port Edwards), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
