The Mater Dei Knights put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Edwardsville by a score of  49-42. That's another feather in the cap for Mater Dei, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Mater Dei's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Maris Zurliene, who  scored 10 points along with 6  rebounds and 3  steals. The  game was  Zurliene's third in a row with at least ten points.  Alyssa Koerkenmeier was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 10 points and 12  rebounds.
 Mater Dei's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Edwardsville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Coincidentally,  both teams will both be playing Evansville Memorial the next time they take the court. Edwardsville will  host Evansville Memorial at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday, while Mater Dei will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
