Johnathan Schroeder Turns in Season-Best Performance
Oxford was led to victory by Johnathan Schroeder, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Schroeder rushed for 188 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Schroeder and Oxford will square off against Udall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Schroeder took on the Eagles, he rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Another Oxford player making an appearance on this list is Cordell Jordan. He rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 64 receiving yards and a touchdown.

West Elk picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Creyo Koop. Koop was unstoppable, rushing for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also catching a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Koop must have Sedan's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. West Elk picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Trent Haag. Haag did his part (and then some), throwing for 97 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 5-for-5 passing, while also rushing for 55 yards on only five carries for the 'W'.
Haag must have Sedan's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Haag saw the Devils), he rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes.

Big Game from Vineyard As Argonia/Attica Fell 28-12
Rounding off our Top Five is Carson Vineyard of Argonia/Attica. Vineyard rushed for 128 yards, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown on only six passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 128 rushing yards dating back to last season.
With the loss, Argonia/Attica broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2. Vineyard and Argonia/Attica will be playing at home against Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
