It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pisgah Eagles had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 66-38 win over the Rattlers. Pisgah might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Karl Parham and Endymion Tyus certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Parham threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns, while Tyus picked up 202 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Tyus' longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Pisgah, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Tanner, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Pisgah will take on Tuscaloosa Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tuscaloosa Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 160 points over their last four matches. Tanner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
