The Bowen Boilermakers will head out on the road to face off against the Solorio Sun Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bowen is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Solorio in Illinois (Bowen is ranked 289th, while Solorio is ranked 620th).
Last Friday, Bowen earned a 37-28 win over Longwood. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bowen.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bowen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kimora Myles, who scored 19 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The contest was Myles' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Delia Walker, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Solorio, who are still winless after their fifth game. Their rough 31-8 loss to Chicago Washington on Thursday might stick with them for a while.
Bowen's win bumped their season record to 2-1 while Longwood's loss dropped theirs to 2-2.
