Doddridge County was the clear victor by a 61-36 margin over Clay County. Doddridge County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season.
Doddridge County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Hileman out in front who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Landon Thomas, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Doddridge County pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Clay County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Doddridge County will play host again and welcome Tyler, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tyler is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Clay County, they will head out on the road to take on Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Buffalo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Friday.
