Handley put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the James Wood Colonels 78-30. Given the Judges' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Colonels are ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Handley pushed their record up to 19-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for James Wood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Handley will host Spring Mills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Handley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 matchups -- so hopefully Spring Mills likes a good challenge. As for James Wood, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kettle Run at 7:30 p.m.
