Basketball Recap: Pocahontas Piles Up the Points Against St. Edmond

Pocahontas had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They breezed by the St. Edmond Gaels to the tune of 68-34. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.

Pocahontas' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for St. Edmond, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Pocahontas has already played their next game (against West Bend-Mallard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Edmond, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-43 defeat against Clear Lake on the 7th.
