On Saturday, South Point strolled past Cypress Bay with points to spare, taking the game 65-50. That looming 65-50 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for South Point yet this season.
Graham Williams was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 19 rebounds. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Quay Harris, who scored six points along with five assists.
The win got South Point back to even at 5-5. As for Cypress Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
South Point's road trip will continue as they head out to face York at 7:45 p.m. on January 5th. As for Cypress Bay, they will be playing at home against Miramar at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. Miramar and Cypress Bay are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
