After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perry Central, Providence was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Jeffersonville Red Devils. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 14-3 victory the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.
Presley Hegedus (2026) made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched.
