Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to Kelly, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They took their matchup against Doniphan on Friday by a conclusive 28-0 score. Followers of Kelly probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The win bumped Kelly's record up to 5-2. Doniphan are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Kelly take on Metro-East Lutheran at 7:00 PM. Doniphan will stay at home against Chaffee at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses for Doniphan and five for Chaffee.
